What was copied: Seconds 0:04–0:13 of the original, used as the opening of a paid video ad.
This use is unauthorized and infringes Lumen & Co. Studio’s exclusive rights under copyright law, including the rights to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display the work.
Lumen & Co. Studio demands that, no later than 7 days after delivery of this letter, you:
- Immediately stop all use of the work;
- Remove the work from every location listed above, and from any other ad, post, page, or account where you use it; and
- Confirm in writing that you have done so.
If you do not comply, Lumen & Co. Studio is prepared to take further action, which may include:
- File additional copyright takedown notices wherever this work appears, which can remove your content and lead to suspension or termination of your accounts and ad accounts;
- Refer this matter to an attorney to pursue a claim for copyright infringement. Because this work is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, a court may award statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work for willful infringement, plus attorney’s fees and costs.
Preserve all records, files, and communications relating to your use of this work. Your use has been documented, including the links above and the date it was found.
